The story of an ox who decided spreadsheets were more fun than plowing fields.
Mighty Oxen Holdings started as a trucking company — hauling freight, moving mountains (figuratively), and making sure your stuff got from Point A to Point B without any bull.
But then we had a thought: "If we can pull an 80,000-pound load across the country, why stop there?" So we grew. We diversified. We put on nicer suits. And now we're a full-fledged holding company with our hooves in everything from logistics to technology to real estate.
The ox is still here, though. He's just upgraded from a trucker hat to a corner office. And honestly? He's still figuring out the coffee machine.
"We promise not to steer you wrong. Okay, that was the last pun. Actually, no it wasn't."
Our values aren't just words on a wall — they're how we operate, how we invest, and how we treat people. Well, the ox part is a metaphor. Mostly.
Like an ox pulling a cart uphill — in the rain — we don't quit when things get tough. We lean in harder.
No bull. We say what we mean, mean what we say, and shake hands like we mean it. (Or hooves. Whatever.)
We don't chase shiny objects. We study, we plan, we invest wisely. The ox thinks before it charges.
Business should be fun. If you're not enjoying the ride, what's the point? We bring humor and humanity to everything we do.
We're not your typical holding company. We don't just buy businesses and forget about them like that gym membership you got in January. We actively partner with our portfolio companies, rolling up our sleeves (hooves?) and getting to work.
Our team brings decades of operational experience across multiple industries. Whether it's optimizing supply chains, scaling technology platforms, or figuring out why the office printer always jams on Mondays — we've seen it all.
Every business in our portfolio gets the Mighty Oxen treatment: strategic support, operational excellence, and maybe a few impromptu dance parties along the way. Because at the end of the day, we're building something that lasts — and having a great time doing it.
We're an open book. Well, an open barn door. Either way, we'd love to chat.
